Moderation

The moderation department in a DAO has the role of ensuring the respect of rules and the quality of the community's environment on Discord. It is responsible for monitoring conversations and activities on the platform, managing conflicts and inappropriate behaviors, and implementing procedures and systems to ensure a safe and friendly environment for all community members. To do this, it must work closely with other departments of the DAO and use moderation tools adapted to the needs of the community.

Objectives of the moderation department:

• Enforce the rules of the DAO and community on Discord

• Ensure a safe and friendly environment for all community members

• Manage conflicts and inappropriate behaviors in a professional and fair manner

• Monitor conversations and activities on Discord and intervene in case of rule violations or inappropriate behaviors

• Respond to questions and requests for help from community members

• Manage conflicts and inappropriate behaviors in a professional and fair manner, using appropriate moderation measures (warnings, caution, temporary or permanent bans)

• Document and record incidents and moderation measures taken

• Escalate problems and suggestions from the community to the DAO's responsible parties
